Moro Blood Orange
Presenting Moro Blood Orange -- no, it's not some Sicilian warning message but a delightful citrus fruit that we've loved for a long time in its natural state. Beautiful deep red flesh that has a sweet-tart flavor, with a hint of grapefruit and tang of raspberry. It was a natural to want to jam it. Refreshingly lightly sweet and tangy, it works well pairing with savory meat dishes, like a surprising side accent for a merguez (lamb sausage) and lentils tangine.
